How to maintain a pure electric car?

With development of new energy technology industry, pure electric vehicles become more and more popular, so how to maintain a pure electric car?  The following are some tips to maintain pure electric vehicles:

Tip 1.

Correctly grasp electric car charging time. Generally, the battery charging time is about ten hours, and we need to avoid overcharging. When preparing to travel, it is necessary to arrange charging pure electric car in advance to avoid insufficient power during driving, which will seriously shorten the life of the battery due to excessive discharge.
Tip 2.

Protect the charger and try to avoid bumping and vibration of the charger. In order to reduce costs, the current chargers basically do not have a high vibration resistance design. After many chargers undergo vibration, their internal potentiometers will drift, causing the entire parameter to drift, resulting in abnormal charging. Therefore, it is recommended that if you must move the charger, try to pack it with plastic foam.
Tip 3.

Charge pure electric car every day, even if you don’t drive much usually, we  recommend to charge electric car every day, so that the battery is in a shallow cycle state, and the battery life will be extended.

Regularly conduct a deep discharge on the battery to “activate the battery”.

It is strictly forbidden to lose power during storage. If pure electric car’s battery is stored in a power-deficient state, sulfating is prone to occur. Lead sulfate crystals adhere to the plate, which will block the ion channel, resulting in insufficient charging and a decrease in battery capacity. The longer the idle time in the power-deficiency state, the more serious the battery damage will be. Therefore, when electric car is not in use, and the battery idle, it should be replenished once a month, so as to better maintain the battery health.
