Neta S shooting brake’s pre-sale has been announced on social media, starting with the EREV options and planning a future launch of BEV variants, similar to the strategy used with the Neta L SUV. Customers have the option to choose from three EREV models: the 300 Standard, 300 Pro, and 300 Max, which will later be joined by the BEV variant on an 800 V platform with a 5C charging capability.

This vehicle features dimensions of 4,980 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, 1,480 mm in height, and a 2,980 mm wheelbase. The EREV models come with Neta’s Haozhi 2.0 system and a 43.88 kWh battery, providing a CLTC range of 300 kilometers and an extended range of 1,200 kilometers when using both fuel and battery power.

The Neta S shooting brake is powered by a 200 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, though details regarding its acceleration performance have not yet been disclosed. The cockpit is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155P chip, featuring an integrated AI voice system. The entry-level EREV models include the Neta AD driver assistance system with Horizon Robotics’ Journey 3 chip, while the premium model offers an upgrade to the Neta AD Max system, which incorporates Nvidia’s Orin X chip and Hesai Group’s AT 128 LiDAR technology.

Since its launch on July 31, 2022, the Neta S has established its presence in the mid-to-high-end EV market, offering both EREV and BEV options.

The upcoming Neta S shooting brake is scheduled to enter the market in August, with deliveries expected to increase in September, as revealed by Hozon CEO Zhang Yong. The vehicle is targeting a specialized segment in China, where sedan derivatives like the Zeekr 001 and Nio’s ET5 Touring are gaining popularity, along with BYD’s range of shooting brake-style models.

Neta’s vehicle lineup includes a range of models such as the Neta S, Neta GT, Neta L, Neta Aya, and Neta X SUVs. The company reported a vehicle delivery figure of 11,015 for July, showing a year-on-year increase of 9.72 percent and a month-on-month increase of 7.93 percent.
