Prior to the launch of the Li Mega, Li Auto management expected to sell 70,000 to 80,000 units for the year, according to local media reports, and is currently discussing whether to lower that figure to 50,000 to 60,000 units.

Li Auto’s first battery electric vehicle (BEV) model, the Li Mega, has not sold as well as expected in its initial launch and the company’s management is considering a downward revision of its sales target for the MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) model, according to local media reports.
Initial 24-hour orders for the Li Mega, which officially went on sale on 1 March, were expected to be around 3,000 units, but turned out to be lower than expected, achieving only half of the target.

The Li Mega received orders for nearly 4,000 units within half a month of its launch, and the Li Auto factory has a capacity of 5,000 units of the Li Mega this month, according to the report.
