BYD looks to 25 February for the official launch of the U9 super electric car

BYD’s (OTCMKTS: BYDDF) premium brand Yangwang is set to officially unveil its U9 electric supercar in a week’s time, kicking off the post-Chinese New Year holiday new model launches.

According to an invitation posted today by local automotive media outlet Yiche, Yangwang will hold the U9 launch event in Shanghai on Sunday, 25 February.

No launch date has yet been announced by Yangwang on its official channels, with the brand sharing a video of the U9 on Weibo on 10 February, the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year in 2024, to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year.
